Team

We are immensely proud of our people. From our production operatives through to our customer service advisors, every individual in our friendly team is an expert in his or her area of work and is dedicated to providing a first class customer experience. Meet some key members of our team:

Jamie
Jamie : General Manager

I have been with Doric Crimped since just after the acquisition in 2011. Put simply my job entails making sure that all our customers are kept satisfied whilst ensuring we manage costs as best we can. This usually means that there is little pattern or routine to my job day-to-day and this is what makes it so enjoyable. Also the staff help make it fun – they are always positive and it is often commented on by visitors that we have a very happy working environment in what is a beautiful part of the country.

Away from work I try to keep myself as fit as possible through a mixture of football and boxing (not at the same time). I also enjoy watching sport and as much live music as I can. My wife and I love travelling and have spent many holidays in Portugal where I fully intend to retire and spend my days spear-fishing.

Beth
Beth : Finance and Personnel Administrator

A working day for me usually involves the administration of all cash incomings and outgoings, purchase ledger invoices, credit control and daily reports. Alongside this I am the site contact for HR administration and Health & Safety – so can also be found completing Safe Systems of Work, checking on Near Miss and Hazard reports and arranging training where necessary!

Outside of work I am a medic, so I am usually to be found in a muddy field at a motor cross event, at a festival or anywhere else that requires a team of medics. When I am not working – which is not that not that often to be fair - I am usually shopping, at the pub or walking my dog. I love working in the small team here at Doric Crimped – it provides a brilliant atmosphere and plenty of opportunities. There is never a dull day here in the High Peak!

Mark
Mark: Stock Controller

Having spent a number of years working in the paper industry in the south of England I moved north with my wife in the autumn of 2017 and joined the Doric team the following February. My role is to ensure that all raw materials are on site to satisfy our busy production schedule, dealing with a variety of suppliers and products it can be a hectic but very rewarding role! The small but very knowledgeable team at Doric are very supportive and make coming to work an enjoyable experience.

Outside of work, I'm married with two grown up children both of whom have settled in the north west following university. I'm a keen walker and spend many hours out and about with "Jack" our border collie. Rugby is my sport, sadly I’m to old to play these days but enjoy watching from a far, following a Lions Tour to the southern hemisphere is number one on my bucket list!

Theresa
Theresa : Sales Administrator

My job involves liaising with customers on a day-to-day basis, taking their orders and keeping them up-to-date with regard to prices and delivery dates. I also play a part in the daily planning of production. I enjoy working as part of a team and solving the problems that come up every day – I get on with everyone here and it is a fun place to work.

Outside work I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, baking and going to boot camp a couple of times a week (I need to burn off all the calories from sampling my fantastic cakes!)

Larisa
Larisa: Sales Administrator

My job involves processing orders, sample requests and carrying out administrative duties like the upkeep of the factory productivity records. I enjoy my day-to-day work, making sure everything runs smoothly. I enjoy learning new things every day, whether it’s at work, at home or anywhere else.

My hobbies outside of work are sailing with my husband and skiing in winter, if we are lucky with the snow. I like travelling and always enjoy engaging in new activities such as snorkelling, scuba diving, as well as meeting new people and sharing the life experience.

Helen
Helen : Production Supervisor

My job on a day-to-day basis involves looking after the early shift and planning production to make sure that all customer delivery dates are met, as well as keeping a close eye on the quality of our products at all times. I have worked for the company for a long time, the people are friendly and good to work with and this helps to make it a happy work place and a good atmosphere.

My time outside work I enjoy swimming and spending time with my family.

: Shift Supervisor
Jason
Jason : Warehouse Supervisor

On a day to day basis I deal with Goods In – unloading, booking in and rotating the stock and Goods Out – preparing the finished goods to load onto our van and 3rd party carriers. I also prepare the raw materials ready for orders to be produced in the factory. I like the atmosphere here at Doric Crimped. I also like the fact that every day is different and although it is based around the same sort of thing you still don’t know what to expect.

In my spare time I enjoy going to the gym, long walks, socialising with family and friends and fishing.
